More Martlesham Meanders

This is more of a photograph-based post, as out-and-about meanders in the Suffolk countryside tend to be better seen than read. Photographs courtesy of Barkie, who takes a better photo than me most of the time. I’ve found some fancy editing tools to add some character so I’ll still take credit for that bit, if allowed?

After a good dose of fresh air, we were ready to join the festivities in “Africa”. We dined on mulled wine and roasted chestnuts while we watched the fire glow warm and bright in the corner. Eventually it was time to say our goodbyes and hit the cold winter air outside, where we were just a field-stride and fence-hop from home. Perfect!
