After weeks of planning, we were finally ready to open the doors of the Bank of England Sports Centre to welcome everyone to this year’s Spring Ball. Our mexican fiesta theme last year was apparently a little much for some, and we were asked to smarten things up a little. So, we put our heads together and came up with a theme that would epitomise style, class and glamour.
1920’s Prohibition / Speakeasy was the frontrunner from day one. So, without further ado, here is our beautiful venue – top to toe in fairy lights and some delicately interwoven bunting. Featuring a jazz band, gramophone, disguised ‘moonshine’ bottles (and teapots), and everything else in between.
Now the pressure really is on to top this for next year. Anyone got any bright ideas?!
